Friday morning came early but the promise of Granny’s sweet rolls was incentive enough to rouse most of the scouts and enjoy a breakfast of eggs, sausage, English muffins, and yes, sweet rolls. Today the first week scouts put a wrap on their merit badge classes. Those who put in the time in class should reap the rewards of their hard work come Court of Honor time. The weather today has been very pleasant, dry and sunny. A more perfect day to be at camp is hard to come by. This evening holds the last block of free time for the scouts or the option of Scout Master, or Board Reviews. Tonight’s entertainment will be provided by the staff at Many Point with a closing bonfire. If last nights impromptu performances by guest staffers at the 346 bonfire were any indication of the talent out there, we should be in for a great show!
