The morning consisted of merit classes..... what do you do if it rains during your class? Move the class into the tents of course. Lunch consisted of grilled cheese and tomato soup, always a classic on a rainy day. The afternoon was split between sailing and a trip to the rifle range. Funny thing about sailing, it's not much fun with no wind. Those classes were canceled due to lack of wind. There were also 13 Scouts that went up to Flintlock today for some added adventures. Four scouts went to the Challenge Outpost, and nine went to the Tree house for an overnight stay. Swimming was after the storms passed, some of the scouts had to swim in their clothes and create floatation devices out of their clothes. I was always told to change my clothes before going into the lake not after...... Diner tonight was a big hot steaming plate of s#%*!!!, oops sorry about that, I meant to type spaghetti, my keys must have gotten stuck. Diner was tasty as always with sauce, meatballs and fresh bread. This evening around 9:00 is the troop bonfire, this baby is going to be big.... again.... and since it rained today, they can make it even bigger right?
