The bonfire last night lived up to the hype and showed just what happens when you put seventy scouts in a small area with lots of available timber. As you can see from the photos, the flames lit up the night sky (the little things in front of the flames are people). Entertainment for the fire was provided by the troop and included feats of daring and whimsy. Even though the flames reached toward the heavens, safety was of the utmost importance. Our fire wardens can be seen using their equipment to squelch a couple of flare ups.
